I arrived in Vietnam late (1972) and public opinion was turning against us being there. Every other month we were at peace talks, and every other month it was fight for the "American Way." The peace negotiators couldn't even decide on the size and shape of the table while people were dying! The press and the people (our own citizens) started blaming us, the pawns in uniform, for the chaos and "swivel-head" positioning on the war. We came home to "Baby Killers." Your own sons and daughters became the enemy. Now, the GoP does the same to Ukraine. If Putin isn't stopped in Ukraine, then where? Do we support the brave Ukrainians DEFENDING their home or don't we. Please, no more swivel-head policies. I know how that hurts.

I’m sad to say that though the collective west was outwardly all fired up to start with, real support of Ukraine (i.e. commitment to victory) was always just short of adequate. But what the GOP has done in weakening Ukraine on purpose has significantly strengthened all dictators, not only pUtin If there is no Ukrainian victory, NATO will be next. Not in the abstract. Im embarrassed to be American sometimes, but only since Trump! Trump supporters know we have to help Ukraine. They just need something to complain about. Biden has done such a great job that its the only thing they have. That and gas prices, but gas prices are so high because the oil companies increased their gas prices. They wanted people to blame Biden. The oil companies made a record-breaking 40 billion dollar profit the first year Biden was in office from price gouging their gas prices. That's why Biden tried making it illegal for companies to price gouge, but Republicans voted no to it. Why would any politician vote no to making it illegal for companies to price gouge.

I think I speak for a lot of Americans. We'll do our best the help keep Ukraine from the grasp of people with massive ego's like diaper don.

As a German resident I'm immensly grateful for what the US has done to secure freedom and democracy in and after WWII. Each time, I drive by US barracks of which we have several in and around my hometown, I pray that the US keeps supporting Europe and the free world. We wouldn't be able to do it without you, NATO needs you. If Ukraine falls, no European country will be save. I fear that many people don't even know half the countries the ad mentions and it will always be too far to care for them. Please vote blue 💙
